The year 2021 has been the beginning of the rehabilitation of the beautiful Can Muní farm in the municipality of Palau-saverdera. Fruit of the will of the current owners to recover the old concept of rural houses: the place where various families lived who lived together and enjoyed private and common spaces. The farmhouses were built, expanded or designed according to the increase of the family or of the residents, in order to meet the needs of the users. With this idea in mind, we have launched a project in which we want the guest to feel at home, and that the visitor can celebrate their private party or attend public events that are promoted from home.
Can Muní Palau is a 16th century Catalan farmhouse, located in the town of Palau-saverdera, a municipality of 1500 inhabitants located in Alt Empordà. The name “Palau” comes from its origins as a Roman and “saverdera” town, as it forms part of the Sierra de Verdera where the famous Sant Pere de Rodes monastery is located. It is currently known as “el balcon del Empordà” for its magnificent views of the Badía de Roses, the Sierra de Verdera and the plain of the “Aiguamolls de l’Empordà” marshes.
